Founding story
Why we built SEOptimate
For years, I paid an SEO agency hundreds of euros per month. The blogs were full of mistakes, and some keywords they targeted had literally zero search volume.
I built SEOptimate because, as an entrepreneur, I no longer wanted to depend on a marketing agency, or keep paying a premium just to get found online. I ran into this myself with my own webshop, Geheim Biertje: great products, but growing organically was anything but easy.
That experience showed me where SEO often breaks down: too little transparency, too little data, and too much guesswork. Nobody explained why a keyword was worth targeting or why a content strategy made sense.
That's why we built SEOptimate: a platform that brings keyword research, content, and publishing together in a process that is measurable, understandable, and scalable. SEO the way I wished it existed when I started my webshop.

What is SEOptimate?
SEOptimate is an AI SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) platform, founded in 2024 by Koen Pijnenburg in Haaren, the Netherlands. The platform automates keyword research, content creation and publishing for websites and online stores on Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Lightspeed and WordPress, and tracks how visible your brand is in AI search engines such as Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT.
SEOptimate is the trade name of Everevolve B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 94426465. The platform is available in Dutch and English and is used by more than 80 businesses.
Not to be confused with: SEOptimer (a website audit tool from a different company) or OptiMate (a battery charger brand). SEOptimate is an independent Dutch software product and has no relationship with either brand.
