What is schema markup?
Schema markup is a piece of code in your page that tells search engines, in fixed fields, what is there: this is the company, this is the logo, this is an article from that date. JSON-LD is the format Google recommends. Visitors never see it. Google uses it for rich results, and AI search engines read it to work out who you are.
What does this generator produce?
The tool fetches your page and builds one connected block: Organization, WebSite and WebPage, plus BreadcrumbList, Article, Product or FAQPage when the page calls for it. Name, logo, social profiles, description, image and dates come from your own title, meta tags and Open Graph tags. You also see which structured data is already on the page, and whether it is valid.
What the tool deliberately does not do: make things up. You will not get stars, reviews or prices that are not on the page. Schema that does not match what visitors see can earn you a manual action from Google. That is why every result comes with a list of points to check.
How do you put it on your site?
Copy the block and paste it into the head of the page. In WordPress that works through your SEO plugin or a header scripts plugin, in Shopify in theme.liquid, and in most other systems through a custom scripts field. Then test it in Google’s Rich Results Test. If the page already has structured data, merge instead of stacking. For where schema fits into AI visibility, read our guide to GEO, and the llms.txt Checker covers the other file AI assistants read.
Frequently asked questions
Will schema markup make me rank higher?
Not directly. Schema is not a ranking factor. It helps search engines understand your page and can earn rich results such as breadcrumbs or product details, and those attract more clicks.
Which schema types does the tool support?
Organization, WebSite, WebPage and BreadcrumbList for every page. Article for blogs and news, Product for product pages with a price in the meta tags, and FAQPage when the page shows visible questions with answers.
Why is there no review rating in my schema?
Because the tool only uses what is demonstrably on the page. Ratings in schema have to match real, visible reviews. Invented stars are the fastest route to a manual action from Google.
My page already has schema. Now what?
The tool shows which types are already there. Compare them with the generated block and add what is missing. Do not place a second Organization block next to an existing one, because duplicate data that contradicts itself makes things less clear for search engines.
