SEOptimate Connector for WordPress
A small, free plugin that opens the Rank Math and Yoast SEO fields to the WordPress REST API. That lets SEOptimate apply an approved SEO title or meta description directly on your site.
Why this plugin?
Rank Math and older versions of Yoast SEO do not expose their title and description fields to the WordPress REST API. WordPress then silently ignores a change to those fields: it looks like it worked, but nothing changes on your site.
This plugin registers exactly those fields. A title or meta description you approve in SEOptimate then really arrives on your site. The plugin does nothing else.

Posts, pages and products
The SEO title, meta description and focus keyword fields become writable for all public post types.
Category and brand pages
The same fields for categories and brands, for example WooCommerce product categories.
Only for your active SEO plugin
Without Rank Math or Yoast the plugin registers nothing, so a change never counts as applied when it was not.
No settings, no data
No settings screen, no data collection, no external requests. Only the registration of the fields.

Download
Download the zip at the top of this page.
Upload
In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, and choose the zip.
Activate
Click Install Now and then Activate. Approved titles and descriptions now arrive directly on your site.
The plugin has been submitted to the WordPress plugin directory. Once it is listed there, SEOptimate installs it automatically when you connect your site.
WordPress enforces the permissions
Only who may edit
The fields can only be written by logged-in users who can already edit that post or page, exactly as in the admin.
Your application password
SEOptimate writes through an application password that you create in your own WordPress profile and can revoke at any time.
Nothing goes out
The plugin itself sends nothing, collects nothing and fetches nothing from outside. Values are stored as plain text.
